Our solutions for responding to cyberattacks

Managed SOC (Security Operations Center) service

Proactive, continuous monitoring of your infrastructure to detect and respond to threats in real time, before they cause damage.

Benefits

Directed intervention

An emergency response team ready to act quickly when a cyberattack is detected or suspected within your organization.

Our approach

1. Detection and alerting

Our monitoring systems (managed SOC) or your internal teams (on-site) detect suspicious or abnormal activity. An alert is immediately triggered and our response team is mobilized.

Response time: immediate (24/7 SOC), as soon as possible (on-site at the company’s request).

2. Containment and isolation

First critical action: isolate compromised systems to prevent the attack from spreading. We block malicious access, segment the network, and preserve evidence for investigation.

Objective: immediately stop the attacker’s progress and limit the impact on your organization.

3. In-depth investigation

Detailed analysis to understand how the attack occurred, which systems were affected, what data was compromised, and identify the attacker if possible.

Deliverables: detailed timeline of the attack, entry vectors, compromised systems, exfiltrated data, indicators of compromise (IOCs).

4. Eradication and recovery

Detailed analysis to understand how the attack occurred, which systems were affected, what data was compromised, and identify the attacker if possible.

Deliverables: detailed timeline of the attack, entry vectors, compromised systems, exfiltrated data, indicators of compromise (IOCs).

5. Post-incident and improvement

Detailed report of the incident, lessons learned, and recommendations to improve your security posture. Assistance with notification to authorities (PFPDT) and affected individuals if necessary.

Compliance: comprehensive support to meet your notification obligations under GDPR/LPD (72 hours for data breaches) and NIS2 (24 hours for significant incidents).

FAQ

Incident response

In Switzerland, organizations must document and manage security incidents affecting personal data. In certain cases—particularly where the incident poses a high risk to the individuals concerned—a notification to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) may be required.

In addition, operators of critical infrastructure (including banks, insurance companies, energy providers, hospitals, transport operators, and public authorities) must report significant cyberattacks to the Swiss Federal Office for Cybersecurity (OFCS) within 24 hours of detection. Failure to comply may result in fines of up to CHF 100,000. A single cyberattack may therefore trigger multiple reporting obligations to different authorities.

Preparation involves establishing an incident response plan, conducting tabletop and simulation exercises, training employees, and continuously monitoring information systems. These measures help organizations respond quickly and minimize the impact of cyber incidents.

Incident response is the structured process of detecting, analyzing, containing, eradicating, and recovering from a cybersecurity incident. Its objective is to minimize the impact on information systems, restore normal operations as quickly as possible, and reduce the likelihood of similar incidents occurring in the future.

Common cybersecurity incidents include phishing attacks, ransomware, network intrusions, data breaches, account compromises, and distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. These incidents can affect the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of information systems.

A Security Operations Center (SOC) provides continuous 24/7 monitoring, enabling real-time threat detection and rapid response before an attack can spread. It is the preferred solution for organizations operating critical systems or handling sensitive data.

On-demand incident response services, by contrast, are activated only when needed. They are well suited for managing an ongoing incident or temporarily strengthening an internal security team. In short, a SOC provides continuous prevention and detection, while on-demand incident response delivers expert support when a security incident occurs.
